Episodic Disabilities, COVID-19 and the Workplace

ACED Director Dr. Monique Gignac was invited as a guest speaker to this web event hosted by the Workforce Planning Board of Waterloo, Wellington, and Dufferin. Gignac shared ACED research findings regarding organizational perspectives on the successes and challenges of disability support and communication processes including new ACED research findings related to working with an episodic disability during COVID-19. She also described tools and resources being developed by the ACED team intended to improve communication and accommodation.
