Consultation on the Canada Disability Benefit open until December 21
The Canada Disability Benefit Act became law in June 2023. This benefit was created to reduce poverty and support the financial security of working-age people with disabilities. However, details such as who will be eligible, the amount provided, and what the application process will be are yet to be clarified.
You have an opportunity to share your thoughts in a confidential manner on what these regulations should look like. The Government of Canada has opened a public consultation until December 21, 2023.
